Montgomery County Young Democrats membership allows you to get involved in our community.
 
Membership is open to any registered Democrat under the age of 36 who lives, works, and/or goes
to school in Montgomery County.  Membership includes full voting rights and membership in
Young Democrats of Maryland and Young Democrats of America.


Gain Valuable Campaign Experience
Work closely with the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee, Democratic
candidates, and local elected officials. Volunteer to participate in grassroots campaigning,
fundraising, and media events in local, state, and national races.

Expand Your Networking Opportunities
Meet with like-minded individuals at Party functions, Happy Hours, barbecues and campaign
events.  Many of our members are connected to groups in D.C. and throughout Maryland.  We
often network with these groups to co-sponsor events.

Get Involved In Your Community
The Young Democrats of Montgomery County strongly believe in giving back to our community.
Members have registered voters, participated in environmental clean-ups, and worked at soup
kitchens, in addition to many other service activities.
